In a great game against Colorado State University, in Colorado, the Cougar outside threes gave them the final push they needed for a 64-55 win.
Both teams played close the first half changing the lead about 6 times. Then as half time drew near the Cougars made a final push that out them up by 8 going into the half.
In the second half BYU's Threes from Jazmine Foreman, Mindy Bonham and Kim Parker helped push the Cougars ahead. Together with Coriann Fraughton and Haley Hall they shot 50% from the outside in the second half. BYU a total of put up 11 three pointers the most in a game this year. They have a 17-4 record, when the team make 5 threes in a game.
Out rebounded 32-29, shooting kept these Cougars in the game. They ended up with 43.9% Field Goals, 50.0% Free Throws, and 100.0% in Free Throws. Compared to CSU's 40.8%, 41.7%, and 83.3%. Foul trouble also kept the game close. CSU went to the line 12 times compared to BYU's 3.
Overall Mindy had a fantastic night. She put up a season high 21 points. 17 of these points came in the first half, which is her first half points record all season long. Mindy also a season high of 3 blocks.
Most importantly however, Coach Judkins recorded his 200th career win that night.
