BYU Dominates at Rice Invitational

Aug. 24 - 25, 2012 BYU, Rice, Arkansas State and Air Force participated in the Rice invitational. BYU dominated, of course. Friday night BYU debued with a 3 set win over Arkansas State. Saturday morning the Cougars continued their winning tradition with a 3 set victory over former MWC opponent Air Force. Saturday evening BYU capped the tournament with a 3 set victory over host Rice. 

Jenn was named Most Valuable Player. She along with Heather and Alexa made the All-Tournament Team.

Volleyball Opens Season Beating Alumni

Monday, August 20th the 2012 Brigham Young University Women's Volleyball team officially began its 2012 season with a match versus BYU alumni. 

BYU at Santa Clara

In one of BYU's tightest games of the season the Cougars pulled out a last minute 10 point win, to put down the Broncos 74-64.

Jen came up big for the Cougars over the Broncos.

BYU at Seattle

Recently named no. 23 in the nation the Cougars took to the road and brought a non-conference defeat to Seattle, 69-55.

Steph contributed big in the defeat of Seattle.

BYU vs Portland

Facing Portland for the second time in conference BYU continued to show up and play great ball sending the Pilots packing after a 76-55 defeat.

Jen contributed several spectacularly awesome blocks.
